Since 2010, Nutris’ full-service, legal nurse consulting process covers every step of your client’s defense medical exam!
As the premier legal nurse consultants in Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, you can count on Nutris. Our proprietary process allows us to assist our clients before, during, and after a defense medical exam resulting in the best outcome of the exam.
Our process begins before the exam. We start by speaking with the client to ensure that we know everything they will need for a successful DME. This includes:
- assessing the need for a translator
- arranging transportation
- fully explaining the DME process to the client
- evaluating the need for a chaperone
By addressing and arranging each of these areas, we ensure that clients arrive on time and are ready to accurately detail their injuries.
During the exam, our nurses are trained not just to simply be present but also to know what questions are allowed to be asked. Possibly most importantly, they are skilled at redirecting with tact so as not to shut down the exam.
In addition, each nurse knows that the DME doesn’t end after the doctor has left the room. Our nurses always arrange for the plaintiff to leave the property before leaving themselves.
Our legal nurse consultants are not only registered nurses, they have been trained using our proprietary process in order to capture as much relevant information as possible during the DME. Not only are they able to give a medical summary, they are skilled at also knowing the important legal aspects of the exam and making notes accordingly. Each summary:
- is written by a healthcare professional
- includes an audio recording
- contains additional comments
